Teeple Hill graduated from Savannah State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology.   He later pursued studies in Civil Engineering Technology at Savannah State University and Land Surveying at Middle Georgia College.

With over 25 years of experience in the surveying and mapping profession, Teeple began his career at Thomas & Hutton Engineering in 1999. He became a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia in 2007, and subsequently obtained licensure in both Florida and South Carolina in 2009.  Teeple is also certified as a Floodplain Surveyor by FEMA, demonstrating his expertise in floodplain management and elevation certifications.  

Before joining Shupe Surveying in 2010, Mr. Hill served as the Survey Department Manager at Thomas & Hutton Engineering Company's Brunswick office.   He later founded and operated CT Hill and Associates, LLC, providing specialized land surveying services.

Teeple is an active member of several professional organizations, including the South Carolina Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).  He is a Past President of the Survey and Mapping Society of Georgia.

In 2024, Teeple was re-elected as the County Surveyor for Glynn County, Georgia, reflecting his commitment to public service and the local community.  He is also a Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Brunswick and has served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 203, demonstrating his dedication to civic engagement and youth development.

Gary R. Nevill, PLS
Senior Vice-President

Gary R. Nevill graduated from The University of Florida in 1984 with a Bachelor of Land Surveying.  He was a Registered Land Surveyor in Florida in 1984 and Georgia in 1988.

Mr. Nevill served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1978 and later in the Georgia Army National Guard from 1985 to 1992. During Operation Desert Storm, he was deployed as the Battalion Reconnaissance and Survey Officer.

With over 40 years of experience in the surveying and mapping profession, Gary joined Shupe Surveying Company, P.C. in 1991. As a principal of the firm, he has contributed significantly to its growth and reputation in providing professional land surveying services in Southeast Georgia​.

Gary is an active member of the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG), where he serves as a chapter representative. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), staying engaged with advancements in the land surveying profession.

In addition to his professional commitments, Mr. Nevill serves on the Glynn County Mainland Planning Commission.  He was appointed in 2010 and has been a dedicated member for over 14 years, including six years as Chairman, contributing to responsible land development and planning in the region.

Thomas Grant Gammon, PLS
Senior Vice-President

Thomas Grant Gammon began his land surveying career in 1992 with Thomas & Hutton Engineering Company.  He later pursued studies at Middle Georgia College, and became licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of Georgia in 2005.

Over the course of his tenure at Thomas & Hutton, Mr. Gammon progressed from a field crew member to the role of Project Surveyor, gaining extensive experience in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and subdivision development throughout the Coastal Empire.

In 2009, he founded Gammon Surveying & Associates, LLC, offering professional land surveying services across Coastal Georgia.  After successfully collaborating with Shupe Surveying on numerous projects over the years, Mr. Gammon officially joined the company in 2020.

He currently serves as the Branch Manager of Shupe Surveying Company's Pooler, Georgia, office, leading operations and overseeing projects throughout Savannah, Pooler, and the surrounding counties.

Mr. Gammon is a proud member of the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia (SAMSOG) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
